Documentation and Regulatory Requests

All documentation and regulatory requests, whether product specifications, MSDS, Kosher certification, Certificates of Analysis, etc. should be sent to one of our customer service representatives, , or .

Most standard requests are answered within a few hours; larger or more complicated requests may require 1-2 business days. Standard documentation on all shipments includes the Certificate of Analysis and the Packing List. The Bill of Lading is provided to the receiving carrier, as per USDOT regulations.

Quality Concerns

Sensient takes all quality concerns very seriously. As such, we require the following information to fully investigate any issue:

  • Purchase order number and date of receipt
  • Sensient product code and lot number
  • Quantity of product in question
  • Detailed description of the problem, along with test results if applicable
  • Pictures of defective material
  • In some situations, a sample of the material may be required; we will advise you if this is the case.
